About UArt Redwood City

In 2014 we moved our University Art corporate headquarters to Redwood City after being in downtown Palo Alto for 65 years. We built a beautiful new building on the El Camino Real that is easy to access and has plenty of free parking : ) Our new Redwood City store’s creative layout offers an amazing overview of our full line of art supplies, craft and hobby supplies, unique gifts, as well as a spacious area for our ready-made frames, photo frames and custom framing. Custom framing in Redwood City is run by the same talented, knowledgeable designers who will work with you to frame and showcase all of your art, photos and heirlooms.

In addition to our wide array of art supplies and framing, we also offer, fun, engaging, creative gifts for all ages, including kid’s art kits and supplies, coloring supplies for all ages, puzzles, albums, journals, sketchbooks, home accents, jewelry, stationery, greeting cards, how-to books and inspirational items to get your creative juices flowing.

UArt Redwood City has a special in-store Learning Center that can contain 15 students with easels or 35 students with no easels. Our Redwood City art classes and workshops are taught by local and nationally recognized artists instructors. In addition to art classes and workshops, we regularly have product and technique demos conducted by our vendors, knowledgeable sales staff, and local artists. These demos are a fun way to learn about new products, techniques, or to try your hand at a new craft. You can both learn, and be creative, all in one place!

Our art store in Redwood City is easy to find and has lots of free parking; it’s just four short miles from our old Palo Alto location, north of the Atherton border on the El Camino, right across the street from Target at Center Street. We hope to see you soon!

About UArt Sacramento

Our Sacramento store is situated in-between the Capitol building and Cal State in bustling, growing mid-town Sacramento. Surrounded by a vibrant arts scene and some of the hippest shopping and entertainment in the area, our corner location with large picture windows offers an ever-changing display of local artists’ work.

Sacramento takes part in the Second Saturday Art Walk each month when local galleries and businesses host an open house evening where visitors may enjoy the art exhibits, local artists, food and wine, live music, street fairs and other special events,

We expanded outside of the Bay Area when we purchased Taylor’s Art Supply Store, giving us one of the largest selections of art supplies, craft supplies and hobby supplies in the Sacramento area, along with an expansive array of creative gifts, kids art and art sets, greeting cards, decorative papers, journals, urban and mural art supplies and fun home accents. Our custom framing in Sacramento is run by highly trained and experienced framers and is a wonderful compliment to the huge selection of wall and photo frames.

Our Sacramento store houses our newest Learning Center and, in addition to classes workshops and demos, they conduct Open Studios on certain Mondays of the month. Check out the UArt Sacramento schedule, and visit sometime soon!
